Description

This rare Galliano by John Galliano silk dress is a bold homage to one of Galliano’s most iconic contributions to fashion: the “newspaper print” dress originally designed for Dior in 2000, notably worn by THE Carrie Bradshaw. Instead of headlines, this version reimagines the print with deconstructed abstract faces, florals, and signature typography, evoking the same avant-garde, print-focused storytelling that made the original so revolutionary. It's perfect for a night out, a day at a not-so-stuffy office, or a midday stroll to brunch.

Crafted under the Galliano diffusion line by Italian manufacturer Ittierre, this dress balances editorial edge with refined femininity. It features a flowing silhouette with a deep V neckline, self-tie neck sash, pleated button-front bodice, and long gathered sleeves that taper at the wrist. The monochromatic palette and high-contrast print give it a photo-negative quality that’s both modern and unmistakably Galliano.

Made in Italy of 97% silk, 3% elastane. It is in excellent condition with no flaws, original hologram and authentication tags.
